How to Remove the Default Choice from a Select List Field

2067 views 61 January 1, 2019 Updated on April 7, 2019 admin

When you add a Select List field to a form, by default, the first choice is sent when a form is submitted.

To change this behaviour, you can select a different default option by moving the pipe plus the word ‘select’ next to a different choice.

Or you can turn off the default choice entirely by removing any ‘select’ word and adding a value in the Placeholder field.
